Trochanteric bursitis

More commonly seen in women, trochanteric bursitis is frequently associated with long standing lower back pain and can co-exist with inflammation or tearing of the gluteal tendons. Plantar fasciitis

Appropriate orthotics that deflect the pull of the plantar fascia are often crucial to treating this condition. Sadly orthotics are often poorly prescribed to effectively manage this problem. Your physiotherapist will coordinate your treatment with the doctors at Kingsley Medical and may suggest cortisone injections, Platelet Rich Plasma or Autologous blood injections.
