Sclerotherapy (Spider Vein Treatment)

This procedure involves injecting a sclerosing agent (a chemical that triggers connective tissue formation within small blood vessels) using a very fine needle in order to cause the vessel walls to ‘seal’ together.  An example of Sclerotherapy can be seen here.

This type of Sclerotherapy can be effectively used to treat spider veins on the arms, legs and face. This procedure requires a consultation with your doctor prior to treatment.
